Shutout (2019)
Alex Paterson is the number-one goalie on his high-school hockey team. And he’s thrilled that his team has made the playoffs. But when graffiti that apparently can be traced back to Alex is found on the walls of the school, and a photo of Alex at a party with a beer in his hand starts making the rounds, he is suspended from the team, and his reputation as a good kid is put in doubt. Alex knows he’s innocent. The problem is, he cannot figure out who would want to frame him. Or why.

Sixteen-year-old Rainey is surprised when a video he made of a schoolyard fight goes viral. Two schoolmates, Jordan and Rowan, convince him to make another one, this time about a mysterious figure in the woods. Soon rumours are circulating that someone is out there kidnapping kids. Or maybe it's a ghost.
The teens are thrilled with the attention their prank is getting and are setting up a follow-up video when things go horribly wrong.
Easy Street (2020)
Three years ago Rob's brother, Adam, was sent to jail for his part in the death of a girl who overdosed at a rave. But now that he has been released, Rob hopes that things can go back to the way they used to be. He soon realizes this is impossible. His brother has changed, the times have changed, and Rob has changed. Adam tells his mom and brother that he is planning to apply to a college in Toronto. He has already discovered how difficult it can be for someone with a criminal record to land a job and thinks he needs to get some education under his belt. He invites Rob to go on a road trip to the city to check out the college. However, Rob suspects that Adam hasn't asked him along just for company. Adam still believes that there's an easy way to get to where he wants to be. And if Rob can't find a way to save Adam from himself, he just might go down with him.
This is the third story of a trilogy featuring Rob and Adam MacLean after the award winning Up North.
